Seeking to push the boundaries of clothing as a medium for personal identity, as a communication tool with others and material artefact for consumption, I engage in a process-based exploration.
This work is a personal investigation to inform my practice as a designer through my own relationship with clothing. It aims to disrupt comforts of current conventions, (un)conscious consumer behaviour, systems of use and explore new means of use, meaning and ideologies. This blog acts as platform for documentation, reflection and sharing the experience of wearing a Personal Uniform for Daily Wear.
I am currently completing my Bachelors of Industrial Design at Emily Carr University of Art + Design in beautiful Vancouver, BC.
Please spark a conversation! I would like to hear your thoughts on a Personal Uniform for Daily Wear.
