M A K I N G

I’ve been making Zero-Waste Pattern Cut (ZWPC) garments over the past 4 months. For a few pieces I’ve used open-source patterns by designers, such as Timo Rissanen and Holly McQuillan. The rest have been created through process-based construction, incorporating improvisation, taking inspo from zero-waste patterns and aesthetics of minimal clothing.

To date I’ve made:

3 pairs of pants
2 dresses
2 light jackets
5 shirts
2 shawls

At this time I wish I could write more about my experience of designing and constructing these garments, but in tight times with my undergrad thesis. I will update more when I can!
